“My grandson and I stayed for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their website www.peekskillinn.com gives a fairly accurate description with pictures. The continental breakfast is actually more extensive than most such offerings and my grandson especially enjoyed the after-hours cookies and drinks. The room was clean, the two beds were comfortable, the builtin air conditioner was good for late July heat, and the WiFi performance was quite good. Only complaint was the bathroom door had been painted so often it wouldn’t close tightly. All staff were friendly and professional. Location does need a car or taxi to the train. Great views west across the Hudson River to Bear Mt. Park. Highly recommended.”

“I travel about 12-15 days of the month and obviously stay in a lot of hotel rooms. I have stayed here once before two years ago and my stay was not the most pleasant. What a difference two years makes. The management has made some positive changes not only to the exterior of the hotel but started renovating the rooms. My room was clean, comfortable and had a phenomenal view of the Hudson River. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“We have a boat at a marina on the Hudson and needed a place to stay that was close by. Called a local B&B where we had stayed before and were offered a room whose private bath was across the hall. Needless to say, we were not thrilled and especially for the price they were asking. Checked out that old standby, the phone book, and located the Peekskill Inn. The room was clean, bed and linens were very comfortable and we slept like logs. In the morning I walked over to the lobby to have the complimentary continental breakfast and was flabbergasted by the view of the Hudson River. We intend to stay again and try their restaurant which looks like fun. Excellent value, lovely view. Only complaint is the low water pressure.”

“The Inn on the Hudson is in good shape, the rooms are a nice size for an older hotel. The bathroom was small, but the view was wonderful. Nice free breakfast. The restaurant (Henry’s on the Hudson) was WONDERFUL we had dinner both nights there. My 8 year old loved the Fish & Chips kids menu with soda & dessert 8.00 $$$ Nice. The French onion soup was to die for! My husband had Beef Filet best he has ever had, perfect medium-rare & Tasty & Large cut!!! We are only 2 hours away & would go back just for DINNER!!”

“Wonderful Staff, the room itself was adequate and the bed was comfy. Ryan, the day manager/front desk person was an absolute dream, the staff was terrific. Whatever Ryan is making is NOT enough. He’s a keeper!!!!
